03/24/26 - Paint and Clip: Landscape Mixed Media Collage

In this fun workshop we will create beautiful landscapes with non-traditional materials. By including unexpected papers, patterns, and textures, we’ll create a sense of wonder and beauty. You’ll learn about collage, layering, adding texture, and embellishing your landscapes with thin applications of acrylic paint, but you won’t have to paint a landscape from scratch. Feel free to bring any extra ephemera that you would like to include.

Back by popular demand! In this workshop you will paint and transform the sturdy, solid wood Bekvam step stool into a stylish piece for your home. Along the way you’ll learn several techniques to help you become a better furniture painter. We will offer a choice of Fusion Mineral Paint for a sleeker, more modern look or Alchemy by Fusion for a more vintage look. These step stools look great and are so useful. Bekvam step stool measures 16 7/8" wide X 15 3/8" deep X 19 5/8" high.

04/22/26 - 3D Basket/Welcome Door Hanger Décor with Choice of Insert

In this unique workshop you’ll paint and put together a beautiful 3D basket or Welcome Door Hanger, along with your choice of Easter Egg Hunt, Easter Animals, Leprechaun, Four Leaf Clovers, Love Birds, Daisies, S’mores, Hen on a Nest, Tulips, Ice Cream, Birthday, Bees, Love is Love, sunflowers, apples, or wine. The contents of the basket are interchangeable, so in future workshops you can select additional inserts for your basket or door hanger.
At registration, please give us your choice of project and insert(s). Once you’ve taken the first workshop you can purchase and paint two more inserts for your project at another workshop (just let us know at registration).
Baskets measure approximately 8” X 5.5”; Welcome Door Hanger Measures 10.5” in diameter; interchangeable inserts measure approximately 9” X 5”.

Many of us remember our mothers and grandmothers playing Mahjong. Today, Mahjong is having a resurgence across America; Kevin and I included. We’ve been taking lessons with Elva from Let’s Play Mahjong and now Elva is coming to Hudson Valley Vintage for a 101 workshop. For the very beginner, come learn what all the fuss is about and play your first Mahjong game.
